Welcome to TOYMAKER's Craft a Wooden Bug House workshop! Bugs may be small, but they play a vital role in our ecosystem — and this workshop is a hands-on way for kids to learn about it. Building a bug house for the garden opens the door to lessons on habitats, ecosystems and food chains, while giving children the chance to swap insect knowledge with like-minded friends.
Over the session, children will laminate panels, drill pilot holes, hammer nails, install a hinge, attach a hanger and craft a simple door latch — combining real woodworking skills with a fun, educational project. Classes are limited to just 8 children for a personalised experience.
