Pistang Pilipino brings Filipinos from across New Zealand together over Labour Weekend. Wellington hosts in 2026. The festival has sports competitions (arnis, basketball, pickleball, bowling, golf, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, Beyblade, Mobile Legends, tennis) and a Parade of Filipino Festivals. It also has the SIGLA Cultural Night, the Grand Coronation Night for Miss Philippines New Zealand 2026, and a Sunday prayer and Catholic Mass. There are food and retail stalls, plus consular and migrant worker services.
