Organised by Making Faces NZ Entertainment
Spring into Tawa is Tawa’s annual spring festival, held on the Main Road in Tawa each October, featuring stalls, entertainment, food trucks, and community activities.
Families can expect a colourful, joy‑filled experience from the moment they arrive. Making Faces NZ brings a vibrant mix of face painting, balloon twisting, character entertainment, crafts, and giant bubble shows — all designed to captivate children of every age and create magical memories that last long after the event ends.
Children are invited into a world of creativity and imagination. They can choose from beautifully detailed face‑painting designs, request fun and whimsical balloon creations, meet and interact with lively character performers, or get hands‑on with craft activities that spark curiosity and play. At many events, kids also gather around for our giant bubble shows, where enormous shimmering bubbles float, dance, and sometimes even surround them — a moment that always brings wide eyes and big smiles.
Families love Making Faces NZ because every interaction feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun. Our entertainers are patient, engaging, and experienced with children of all ages, creating an environment where kids feel comfortable, excited, and included. Whether it’s a birthday party, community celebration, school event, or festival, parents appreciate how seamlessly we add colour, energy, and magic to the day — making their experience easier, happier, and wonderfully memorable.
