Organised by Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne (Zealandia Ecosanctuary)
Bring your Tamariki along these school holidays for a kōanga/spring-themed puppet show performed by String Bean Puppets. The interactive show features Kererū and Millie, best friends who work together to protect an orphaned baby kohekohe tree from invasive weed species — a story about the struggle against invaders, reminding audiences that "not all green is good." The free event is held in the Visitor Centre foyer; standard sanctuary entry fees apply for those entering further, though members get free entry. Overflow parking is available at Birdwood Carpark during the busy school holiday period.
