Organised by Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre
Saddle up for The Great Western Murder Mystery, billed as New Zealand’s longest running interactive comedy show, at Lower Hutt Little Theatre.
The notorious cattle rustler Dooky Smuidge has been murdered, and the whole audience is deputised to solve it. You’ll be a Sheriff for the night, and no acting is needed. The cast play the suspects, and you get several chances during the evening to question them, spot the lies and work out who did it. Plenty of distractions will try to throw you off the trail.
The show is fast, silly and loud with laughter, so it suits a group night out, a birthday or a work catch-up. Come in your best western gear, with hats, boots and bandanas. Dressing up isn’t compulsory, but it adds to the fun.
Gather your crew, put on your costumes and see if you can crack the case.
